Two families living in London keep touching each other through the film: one is preparing a lavish wedding in the countryside, the other is a hard criminal family of moneylenders. Over a week of celebrations the two worlds collide. When a secret from the past comes out the violence starts and everyone’s life changes at once. The story builds its revenge from both sides; rather than say who is in the right, it shows how the cost grows and who is made to pay it. The detail of the wedding preparations and the coldness of the violence sit side by side in the same edit. Jim Sarbh and Pulkit Samrat appear in Bejoy Nambiar’s hundred and forty three minute Indian film, completed in 2020.
