What Texas - Doc Snyder hält die Welt in Atem Is About
Doc Snyder comes home after thirty years. His laundry is in a terrible state after the ride across the prairie, so he calls in for his mother to wash it. She sends him to the jail first: his brother Hank is about to be hanged and needs getting out. Once he is out, the two of them decide on the spot to rob a bank, and it goes catastrophically wrong. In front of Snyder, Hank is shot by his old enemy the Nose Man. Snyder gets away, the Nose Man comes after him, and a great many innocent people die in between. Ralf Huettner directs Helge Schneider's western parody. Eighty-six minutes. Schneider stars and is behind the music too. There is no interest here in a story that holds together; the comedy is built entirely on nonsense and improvisation.
