The Accidental Twins

In December 1988 twins are born in a hospital in Bogota. A day earlier, another pair is born in a small town hospital a hundred miles away. One of the country babies is ill and is brought to Bogota, and at some point the babies are exchanged. The result is two families each raising what they believe are twins, when in fact each pair is made of one boy from each set. The truth surfaces in 2014. Alessandro Angulo's 2024 documentary treats it not as a story about coincidence but as four adults meeting, at the same moment, a new brother and the possibility of a life they never had. Where each of them grew up, one in the city and one in the countryside, is part of the question.
