Miguel steals a trick from an old book of magic that comes into his hands and becomes a magician known around the world by performing it. But as the success grows so does the fear inside him: what if someone finds out the trick was taken from a book. He comes to live more and more with that thought, and fame, instead of protecting him, leaves him more alone. Alejandro Agresti builds the story not as a straight account of a rise but as a broken structure moving between remembering and forgetting. Carlos Roffe appears in the hundred and eleven minute Argentine film, completed in 1994.
