Buenos Aires viceversa

The film is set in Buenos Aires. The account is built from stories that link into one another. At the centre is a young woman. Her parents were disappeared during the military years. The woman now works with a camera. An elderly, well off couple give her a job. They want her to film the city and bring it to them. They are afraid to go out themselves. The woman films in the streets. The footage she brings back unsettles the couple. Other people come into the account as well. Different parts of the city are set side by side. The past and the present keep touching one another. Vera Fogwill and Nicolás Pauls take the leads in Alejandro Agresti’s Argentine and Spanish coproduction of 1996.
