What The Brainwashing of My Dad Is About
Jennifer Senko starts from how her father changed. A man who used to be someone else hardens along with the programmes he follows on radio and television, and the tie inside the family breaks. From there the film moves out to the general case and describes how the American right wing media was built, drawing a line from a plan Roger Ailes prepared under Nixon through Rush Limbaugh to Fox News. Its thesis is explicit and the other side gets no room. The reviews divided: some found it worth thinking about, others said it reduced the matter to a single line of conspiracy and stayed on the surface.
