The Corsican Brothers

Mario and Lucien are twins. They are separated at birth. Their parents had been killed by Colonna. The two grow up in very different places. Mario becomes cultured and urban. Lucien lives in the hills as an outlaw. Years later they come together. The point is to settle the account for their family. There is a strange tie between them. Whatever one feels the other feels as well. That makes swordplay hard for both. Their tempers do not match either, and finding common ground takes work they must do before they can beat Colonna. Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Ruth Warrick appear in the hundred and eleven minute film, an American production Gregory Ratoff finished in 1941.
