The Dog Who Stopped the War

André Melançon's 1984 Quebec film is among the best known works of Canadian children's cinema, following a group of kids who spend the Christmas holidays fighting a snow war. Split into two teams with shields, wooden swords and snowballs, they build a two-week campaign around a snow fort, with a prize chest waiting.
