The Happy Worker - Or How Work Was Sabotaged

Bureaucracy grows under the name of efficiency. Employees are burning out. The film explains how this came about. It works through human behaviour. It asks what keeps the system standing. It lists the things that make objection hard. The anthropologist David Graeber speaks. Researchers who study burnout take part. People from survey companies give their views as well. The documentary is openly a work of criticism. It gives little room to the opposing view. David Graeber and Christina Maslach appear in the eighty minute documentary. It is a Finnish and Norwegian production John Webster finished in 2022.
