What The Journey Is About
Kiran and Delilah grow up in the same village. The village is in Kerala, a green place. The two have been friends since childhood. In time what is between them changes. Kiran has trouble naming the feeling. Where they live nobody talks about such a thing. The only accepted path in the village is an arranged marriage. Families are making plans for their daughters. The two young women fall outside all of that. At the same time they cannot give each other up. As the pressure grows things get harder. The account follows what passes between them. Suhasini V. Nair and Shruthy Menon take the leads, with KPAC Lalitha also in the cast, in Ligy J. Pullappally’s Indian film of 2004.
