What The Secret Is About
Marie has been married twelve years, has a two-year-old son and makes her living selling encyclopedias door to door; she has no complaint about her life and feels something is missing from it. She meets Bill: fifty, American, a man who explains nothing. The affair that starts between them makes her own life impossible to carry; it leaves marks on her body that she cannot hide, and her husband sees everything.
