Five friends from the youth of the fifties come together again in their forties after years of silence. One has come out of prison, one has deaths behind him, one has left his wife and children, one has been on the road for years, and the only woman in the group comes from a hospital where she stayed a long time. All of them are worn out by the politics of their generation and by their loves, and they try to rebuild the group they had when they were young; but there is no place left to go back to. Nikos Nikolaidis’s hundred and twenty three minute Greek film treats this reunion not as a celebration but as a farewell. It was completed in 1979.
