What The Yes Men Fix the World Is About
The two activists put on the executive suit again, and again nobody checks who they are. Their biggest performance falls on the anniversary of the Bhopal disaster: one of them appears on the BBC as a Dow Chemical spokesman and announces that the company will finally compensate the victims. The story goes round the world, the share price drops, and then comes the denial. Here the film turns the question on itself: what happened to the people in Bhopal who woke up hopeful that morning? Asking that is what lifts it above a collection of pranks. A sequel to the 2003 film, with larger stunts and heavier consequences.
