Three Cases of Murder

Three separate murder stories in three separate keys. In the first, a museum attendant is drawn into the painting on the wall. In the second, two lifelong friends become suspects when the woman they both love is killed. In the third, a politician who has fallen from favour tries to take revenge on a powerful statesman by way of his dreams. Each part of this British trio was shot by a different director: Wendy Toye the first, David Eady the second, George More O'Ferrall the third. Orson Welles appears in the third part and takes top billing on the poster. The tone changes from part to part; the first is fantastic, the second a mystery, the third close to psychological horror.
