Thrive: What on Earth Will it Take?

The documentary builds a chain of claims. First: at the base of the universe there is a torus form, and that form allows unlimited free energy to be produced; the technology exists and has been suppressed. Second: money, food, energy, health and the media are being concentrated in the hands of a small group, and this is a deliberate plan. Third: the answer is less government and voluntary association. It assembles all of this out of interviews with scientists, activists and writers. Steve Gagne directs; two hours and twelve minutes. Foster Gamble developed the film and narrates it. The free-energy claim it advances has no standing in physics. In 2012 nine of the people interviewed signed a joint letter dissociating themselves from it, among them Deepak Chopra, Vandana Shiva, Amy Goodman and Edgar Mitchell, saying the film had been described to them as something else.
