Tigers on the Rise

The documentary takes up the rise in the number of wild tigers. The account follows the local work that made that rise possible. The people in the field both protect the animals and try to make it possible for villagers and tigers to live in the same area. The conflict is real: tigers harm livestock, and people harm tigers. The film tells both sides without setting them against each other. Blair Underwood narrates. The work runs in the shape of a nature documentary and gives the weight to its images. The seventy eight minutes are spread across several regions. The account stands in an optimistic place, and that view is the film’s own. Rob Sullivan’s American documentary was completed in 2024.
