Omer the Tourist in Star Trek

The Enterprise is on a new mission. Captain Kirk and Mister Spak beam down to collect reports from Professor Krater, who lives alone on a remote planet with his wife. One of the crew dies in a way nobody can explain, and the situation gets away from them. To get himself out of it, the professor fires up a time machine and pulls a creature out of an earlier age. The creature turns out to be Ömer the Tourist, who was at that moment trying to escape his own wedding. Hulki Saner's film takes the Star Trek episode The Man Trap, almost line for line and without permission, and grafts it onto Sadri Alışık's Ömer the Tourist series; the effects footage from the series was lifted without permission too. It was shot six years before the first official Star Trek film and is treated as a cult item around the world today.
