Vesna

Samo, Sandi and Krištof are preparing for their final exams. They plan to get hold of the maths questions with the help of their professor’s daughter. Not knowing her name, they call her Vesna. Unexpectedly the professor’s real daughter, Janja, appears, and Samo falls in love with her. Plan and feeling get mixed together and the thing runs out of hand. The friends quarrel over the exam papers, the lie grows, and in the end the young woman learns the truth. In building a comedy of youth the film also sees that she has been made the object of a game. It comes from the vein of Yugoslav cinema of 1953 that spoke to a wide audience. František Čáp’s ninety six minute film was completed in 1953.
