Wet Bum

Sam is fourteen. She lives in a small town. Swimming lessons start at school. She dreads them. She will not take her bathing suit off in front of the other girls. Her classmates make her a target for it. Her friends have their minds on other things. Trouble of her own lands her in it. She is made to work as a punishment. The place is a retirement home her mother runs. There she meets two people, Ed, a widower who has turned bitter, and Judith, who spends her days at the window. An unlikely friendship grows with the two of them. Julia Sarah Stone and Kenneth Welsh appear in the ninety five minute film, a Canadian production Lindsay Mackay finished in 2014.
