What's for Dinner, Mom?

Tae and Yo are sisters. The two of them return to their old house. The house is to be pulled down before long. Clearing out the family things, they find a box. The box is red and it is full. Inside are recipes and letters. Their mother wrote all of them. She died twenty years ago. Tae reads what is written. That is how she learns her mother’s life. The woman moved from Japan to Taiwan. She lost her Taiwanese husband. Then she went through cancer. Tae travels to Taiwan to follow her mother’s traces. Along the way she remembers the dishes her mother cooked. Haruka Kinami and Izumi Fujimoto appear in the hundred and seventeen minute film, a Japanese production Mitsuhito Shiraha finished in 2017.
