What When Fall Is Coming Is About

Michelle is retired in a Burgundy village, living quietly near her old friend Marie-Claude. When her Parisian daughter Valérie drops off her grandson for the school holidays, the visit sours, and Michelle serves her daughter poisonous mushrooms for lunch. Valérie recovers quickly and bans her mother from seeing the boy, leaving Michelle alone with her guilt until Marie-Claude’s son is released from prison.
