What You're Under Arrest: The Motion Picture Is About
Miyuki and Natsumi come back to Bokuto police station after a year spent in other departments. Smuggled firearms and a magnetic disc surface almost at once: a simulated attack plan written for police training has fallen into the hands of a group that is now working through it step by step. The station chief goes to jail for staying silent about a project developed by a detective who vanished two years earlier. Junji Nishimura directed, from Kosuke Fujishima’s manga, with a score by Kenji Kawai. In place of the series’ usual routines it offers long chases involving patrol cars, motorcycles, boats and helicopters.
