Yurigokoro

Ryosuke's life is going well: the restaurant he opened has caught on and he is about to marry his fiancée. Then two things arrive at once. His father is diagnosed with cancer, and his fiancée disappears without a trace. Going through his father's things, he finds a notebook with the word Yurigokoro on it. Inside is the account of a woman named Misako, who states in its first lines that she has taken lives without remorse. Naoto Kumazawa moves between two timeframes for the rest of the film. It is adapted from Mahokaru Numata's novel, with Yuriko Yoshitaka, Tori Matsuzaka and Kenichi Matsuyama in the leads. What connects the notebook to Ryosuke is the film's own business and will not be given away here.
