What Zero III Is About

The film is a crime comedy without any sense of restraint, aimed at corruption and greed in Lithuanian politics. Emilis Vėlyvis’s ninety minute production is the third part of a series he began in 2006 and continued with a second film in 2010, and it is a good example of a filmmaking built on a sharp tongue, deliberately uncomfortable imagery and black humour. Politicians, thugs and the people caught between them are tangled in the same net and nobody comes out clean. It opened on 27 January 2017 and drew more than sixty eight thousand admissions on its opening weekend, breaking a twenty year record in Lithuania. Andrius Bialobžeskis and Ramūnas Rudokas star.
