What A Lucky Man Is About
The film tells the life of a Danish musician. He was the only one of twelve siblings to be given up for adoption, and that beginning left its mark on his whole life. While his adoptive father wanted him to take over the family factory, he chose music and stood at the front of a band. Behind the warm smile and the ease on stage lay a lifelong search for recognition and for love. The account does not hide that search, and it builds the story alongside the songs he is best known for. Anders W. Berthelsen plays the lead in Henrik Ruben Genz’s ninety two minute Danish film, completed in 2022.
