The documentary follows seven women in New York, aged between sixty-two and ninety-five, all of whom have made the way they dress part of their relationship with growing older rather than a matter of taste. The film comes out of the blog of the same name by the street photographer Ari Seth Cohen, who started it after losing his grandmother, as a way of handling the gap she left. Lina Plioplyte does not convert the women into figures to be held up as examples; she leaves them in their own homes, speaking for themselves. The subject is not fashion but staying visible inside a culture fixated on youth.
