What And Along Come Tourists Is About
Sven arrives at the memorial site in present day Auschwitz to do his civilian service in place of the army. Robert Thalheim drew the story from his own months of civilian service there, and it is about how the past is folded into the present life of a town: in Oswiecim people live, work and lose their jobs.
