The film is based on a true story. The genocide of the Romani went unspoken about for a long time. The way the film names it points to that. The account sets out to recall a forgotten killing. It is built as a historical drama. The events are given through the eyes of a community. The suffering is shown without ornament. Horst Buchholz and Maya Ramati appear in the one hundred sixteen minute film, a British, Polish and American production Alexander Ramati finished in 1988.
