Andhra King Taluka

Mahesh Babu P's 2025 Telugu film follows Sagar, who has built his life on devotion to a film star. He defines himself through the fan association; his work, his relationships and his decisions are shaped by that attachment, and at a certain point the cost appears. The subject is fan culture in Telugu cinema itself: first-day screenings, the ritual pouring of milk over posters, and fights between rival fan groups. The story both celebrates and questions that culture, and the doubleness is what makes it interesting. Ram Pothineni's performance is sincere. Its weakness is a closing section that softens the criticism, and the running time. Who it's for: viewers interested in Telugu cinema and fan culture. Who it's not for: anyone wanting sharp criticism, or who cannot follow references to local cinema.
