Angel Terminators 2

A few teenage girls set out to rescue a friend who has been forced into prostitution. What they run into is not a local thug but a triad operation, and once a policeman who ignores the rules joins in, the whole thing turns into a blood feud. The film starts out looking like a rescue story and then makes everyone pay for it, arriving at a genuinely harsh ending. This is one of the entries in the wave of armed-heroine films popular in nineteen nineties Hong Kong. Moon Lee, Sibelle Hu and Yukari Ôshima appear in the same picture, all three doing their own fighting. Tony Lou Chun-Ku sets the story up quickly and gives most of the running time to the choreography. The action is fast and sharp, and the feeling underneath it heavier than you expect.
