Angèle and Tony

Angèle is fresh out of prison. She turns up in a small fishing town in Normandy; what she wants is custody of her son back, and for that she needs proof of a decent life. Tony is a fisherman there, not much of a talker, roughly honest. He does not care for how forward she is, but he puts her behind the fish stall, gives her a bed and teaches her the trade. His mother Myriam cannot stand her. The two of them tame each other slowly and through a lot of wrong moves. Alix Delaporte's first film; eighty-seven minutes, with Clotilde Hesme as Angèle and Grégory Gadebois as Tony. Both of them won the César for most promising actor for it.
