Necla and Tarık both live off street trading and small confidence tricks. When their paths cross they start out wanting to strangle each other and end up working together out of necessity. Their schemes work about half the time, and whatever happens to them pulls the two a little closer each round. What began in mutual loathing slowly turns into something else. Osman F. Seden's 1975 film takes one of the most used shapes in Yeşilçam, the couple who fall in love while bickering, and builds it on Tarık Akan and Necla Nazır. The supporting cast, Hulusi Kentmen among them, are the familiar faces of the period. Light, quick, and resting entirely on how well the two leads fit together.
