Şaka ile Karışık

Ofsayt Osman is a poor man. Nothing he does goes right. At the same time two wealthy landowners make a wager. Ferhat and Hurşit come from two families at odds with each other. The wager is this: whether Hurşit can find an upright and good-hearted man among the drifters. If he finds one he wins. If he does not, he will marry his daughter to Ferhat’s son. The two of them pick Osman, whom they come across at the police station. Osman is given a cheque for a million. The condition is to live honestly for a month without spending it. Then Osman falls in love with Filiz, who sings in bars. Filiz needs money and the situation grows much harder. Sadri Alışık, Filiz Akın and Ajda Pekkan take the leads in Osman F. Seden’s Turkish film of 1965, which runs a hundred minutes.
