What Bal-Can-Can Is About
Terandafil Karanfilov, who has spent the most important years of his life in one war after another, decides to leave the country with his wife Ruza and her grandmother Zumbula when fighting breaks out in Macedonia again. The grandmother dies on the road, they go looking for somewhere to bury her, and when nothing works they try to carry the body across the border rolled in a carpet. The carpet is stolen at a rest stop, and Terandafil turns for help to Santino, the son of his father's blood brother, knowing full well he is mob. Darko Mitrevski turns the aftermath of the Balkan wars into black comedy.
