Three Norwegian teenagers, Lukas, Syvert and Torgeir, want to become professional ballet dancers. They have trained side by side for years at a ballet school where nearly everyone else is a girl, and as they grow older the goal becomes concrete and the work harder. The documentary follows the disappointments, the small victories, the friendship forming, the first loves, the doubt, the faith, the drifting apart and each of them finding his own way and his own ambition, all of it woven through the language of ballet itself. Kenneth Elvebakk’s seventy five minute Norwegian production was released in 2014 and won awards at the Oulu and Tromsø festivals.
