Kong is deaf and mute, does the work of the mob in Bangkok, and his mentor Joe turns him into a cold blooded hitman. After a bloody job abroad he falls in love with a young woman working in a pharmacy, and that life cannot sit alongside this work. The look and cutting of the film made it one of the productions that introduced Thai cinema of the period abroad. Two notes: our record lists one director but the Pang brothers made it together, and the same pair remade it in 2008 with Nicolas Cage.
