Big Time

Bjarke Ingels is a Danish architect. He began taking international commissions while still young. The documentary follows him over six years. In that time he is running two large projects. One is the W57 tower in Manhattan. The other is the second tower at the World Trade Center. Neither of them moves easily. Meetings, models and drawings done over again. As the office grows the work grows heavier. The camera goes inside the practice. The pace Ingels works at becomes visible. Time presses at every stage. The documentary shows what that costs as well. Charlie Rose also appears in the ninety three minute film, a Danish production Kaspar Astrup Schröder finished in 2017.
