Björk: Cornucopia

Ísold Uggadóttir's 2025 film records Björk's stage show of the same name. The show was designed for indoor venues, with the stage built around a digital screen, a flute ensemble and a choir. The film attempts nothing beyond a concert record, but the design is the narrative itself. Images of nature, three-dimensional projections and acoustic instruments work together, with the sound design at the centre. Björk keeps her speaking to a minimum. The programme closes with a statement on the environment, which the narrative leaves without emphasis or explanation. Who it's for: Björk listeners and those curious about stage design. Who it's not for: viewers looking for information about the artist; the film is not a documentary but a record of the show.
