Blood Moon Party

Four men who have been friends since childhood meet for dinner with their wives. At the table they argue about how smartphones have affected their lives. When the argument grows, someone proposes a game. The rule is simple: everyone puts their phone on the table. Every message, notification and call that comes in will be shared with the table. As the game goes on, what each of them has been keeping back comes out. The film builds its tension at one table over one night. The work is a remake. The hundred and eighteen minutes are given to a single dinner. Thái Hòa and Hồng Ánh take the leads, with Thu Trang also in the cast. Nguyễn Quang Dũng’s Vietnamese film was completed in 2020.
