Breath

The film is about a family living in Iran. At its centre is a girl named Bahar. Bahar lives with her father Ghafour and her grandmother. The account is set in the seventies. The child is inside a world of her own making, where daydreams and tales run together with daily life. The film shows childhood as a place where the real and the imagined are not separated. The Iran of that period stands constantly in the background. How a child makes sense of what is happening around her is the real subject. Shabnam Moghadami and Mehran Ahmadi appear in Narges Abyar’s hundred and twelve minute Iranian film, completed in 2016.
