What Camera Buff Is About
Filip, who works at a factory, buys an 8mm camera when his first child is born. Since it is the only camera in town the Party secretary appoints him official photographer, and when his first pieces are sent to regional festivals his horizon opens abruptly. But a camera also means deciding what to show and what to leave out, and that decision starts damaging both his job and his marriage.
