Campo Grande

Regina lives in Rio de Janeiro. Her home is in the Ipanema district. She is a well off woman in middle age. One day she finds two children at her door. Ygor is eight and Rayane is six. Their mother left them there. And then she did not come back. Regina takes them in. The situation upsets the order of the house. The woman starts looking for the children’s mother. The search takes her to places she does not know. That is how the gulf between the two sides becomes visible. The account is built on that encounter. Carla Ribas and Ygor Manoel take the leads, with Rayane do Amaral and Julia Bernat also in the cast, in Sandra Kogut’s Brazilian and French coproduction of 2015.
