Chefurs Raus!

The film is set in a district of Ljubljana. The district is Fužine. Four friends live there. Their names are Marko, Adi, Aco and Dejan. All of them are children of families who came from elsewhere in the former Yugoslavia. The film’s title comes from a slur thrown at those families. Their days pass in front of the blocks of flats. Marko has given up basketball. That has put him at odds with his father Radovan. Adi’s older brother is using drugs, and their father does not deal with it. Aco has scores of his own, and Dejan is afraid of being moved out of the city. One night the police stop them, and after that night the world of all four begins to come apart, in a film drawn from Goran Vojnović’s own novel. Benjamin Krnetić and Emir Hadžihafizbegović appear in the hundred minute film, a Bosnian and Slovenian production finished in 2013.
