What Cocktail Is About

Ravi Abraham, a successful architect, lives an orderly and happy life with his wife Parvathy and their daughter Ammu. One day he gives a lift to a stranger named Venketesh, and from that moment his life passes entirely into the man’s hands; this calm-seeming person knows every secret the family has and reveals what he wants little by little. Arun Kumar Aravind’s first film as director was built together with Anoop Menon, who also wrote it, and is an uncredited adaptation of the Canadian film Butterfly on a Wheel. It is a thriller compressed into a short span of time, and the whole matter is what Ravi has been hiding inside his marriage. Jayasurya and Anoop Menon lead, with Fahadh Faasil in the cast. It was later remade in Tamil.
