What Coming Home Is About
Sent to a labour camp as a political prisoner during the Cultural Revolution, Lu is finally released years later and goes home. His wife Feng no longer recognises him: she is still waiting for her husband to return and takes the man in front of her for a stranger. Lu accepts that, and goes back to her every day as a stranger.
