What Day of the Wacko Is About
A single day in the life of an obsessive divorced man in his forties: waking, the noise of neighbours, shopping, a hospital, all of it accompanied by his interior voice. Marek Koterski runs almost the entire film on monologue, and the character's grievances are so detailed that they stop being funny and become frightening. It became a cult film in Poland and its lines entered daily speech, so some references will be closed to outsiders. He is not likeable but he is recognisable.
