Demon Lover Diary

Two factory workers decide to make a film. Their names are Donald Jackson and Jerry Younkins. What they are making is a low budget horror picture. They call in three people for equipment and help. Those three are Joel DeMott, Jeff Kreines and Mark Rance. All three are filmmakers. They drive to Michigan. DeMott keeps the camera with her. What she records is not the film being shot but the shooting itself. Things go wrong quickly. The money runs short and the plans do not hold. Tension settles into the group. What comes out of it is a production diary. DeMott handled the camera, the sound and the editing herself. The ninety minute film was made without a large crew, an American production Joel DeMott finished in 1980.
