What Doctor Who: The Snowmen Is About
The Doctor has withdrawn to London in 1892 and has decided to stay out of human affairs for good. Then a governess called Clara pulls at the thread of something that began with her predecessor dying inside ice, and at the other end of it is Doctor Simeon, who commands creatures made of thinking snow. There is also the small matter of Clara’s face, which belongs to someone the Doctor watched die. Written by Steven Moffat, this Christmas episode introduces a new companion and turns Victorian London into a ghost story. Richard E. Grant plays the villain.
