What EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert Is About

The film is built from long-lost footage of Elvis's Las Vegas years, joined by sixteen millimetre material left over from Elvis on Tour, eight millimetre reels from the Graceland archive, and audio of the man telling his own side of it. There are no experts, no critics and no narration, only images and music, and that is the film's identity. The hotel engagement planned for a few weeks in 1969 ran for more than seven years. It moves between the joking man in rehearsal and the one on stage. Baz Luhrmann found the material researching his 2022 Elvis.
