Every Saturday he goes to collect her. His wife is not happy with the arrangement. The man struggles to spend time with his daughter. He feels guilty for no longer being with her. One Saturday they set out again. The trip has not been planned in advance. He decides to do whatever Elise comes up with. The road stretches out and they get as far as Madrid. The father wants to teach her not to depend on him. In doing it, his own conduct is what gets tested.
